I dunno, I can't help but think most of the people who support it were paid money to support it, and almost anyone in power would support anything if they were paid to.

I'm not saying they did the right thing, just that very few people would end up innocent in a situation like this.

more then anything i like to play devils advocate and sometimes think of myself as being a bit of a conspiricist... and would usually think theres allot more going on in the background of the government more then likely I'de say its not you* thats gonna be blackmailing but you prob would be a target ~_~ I even think obama has been blackmailed several times imo

Politicians have a lot of reputation at stake so that would be the easiest "legal" thing to blackmail. Anyways I don't trust any politicians. Sure they may say the support it, but I always think that politicians will say anything to get into power. Please the people to get the right votes. Say only the things that will get you elected.

Of course some politicians are completely honest or rigid on their principles which is why you have two parties because their ideals are in some way set in stone.

But that's another story.
