  I think if people want to protect against piracy/plagiarism, they need to simply report it to site admins or file DMCAs. It's their responsibility to take care of their works, and shouldn't lead to punishing every citizen, and potentially every internet user in the world.

  In Summary: Hollywood people who make billions of dollars are for this because they are losing 1/10000th of their revenue and they are greedy bastards. Everyone else in the world is against it except for uninformed people who think that the Hollywood people have it as bad as they are QQing that they do.
