Questions about Being Left as Logged On After Getting Stuck

  I was practicing playing my instrument, trying a score I bought from someone a few times. After a few plays and cancellations, I found that I was unable to move. I tried the ASDW Keys and the mouse, but I simply stayed put. Thinking something was wrong, I clicked on "End Game."
  
  After several minutes, I realized the cilent is unable to log me out. I decided to Ctrl-Alt-Del the cilent and start over. Well, apparently I'm still logged into the game as all I can send is a Disconnection Request.
  
  Now, I have no problem waiting; I only have a few questions to ask about this technical issue. How long does it usually take for a disconnection request to work? What glitch happened that caused me to "freeze" like that? What can I do to prevent it again in the future?
  
  Edit: Everything is fixed now. I noticed the Shoot the Sun Event is gone from the channel that I was on. That may have been the cause.
  
  Feel free to answer the questions anyway in case it was my own fault.

  Due most likely to people using pake to cause mass lag at the sun event spawn... to crash the channels... chances were that the channel crashed :l

  Yeah the channel crashed with you in it, so your account was stuck until the server was rebooted. Happens at times.
