[Suggestion] Expand/Collapse subforums

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

What I mean is how for instance, in General Discussions we can see 4 sub-forums, but only one latest post. The way it is now, I would call "collapsed."

An expanded view, would be so that it expands like a normal category, or at least shows the latest post. For instance, what you see while in that category, like here.

Could be done with a +/- button or something.

Anyways, either here or Xenforo. That's the suggestion though.

Most times I prefer to check the latest post, refreshing periodically. It lets me know if a thread in a certain section was posted on, but if I can't see the latest post for four sections then I have no idea if a thread got a reply or not.

A little tweak:

I would have the -/+ for each category instead of for all 4.

For example, I would like to see Entertainment, News, and Everything Else expanded, while I would like to keep Anime & Manga collapsed, since I don't visit there at all.

I'm okay with this.

Its kinda like having a NEW POSTS function for specific boards so I don't have to look at all the mabinogi and vindictus discussions everytime I visit the site.
