Mabinogi fantasy life my ass, give players the option to compose music, and they take it away. They don't tell us why, but because of what the U.S. government is trying to pull, they had no choice by the looks of it.

It's not like their taking playing instrument away, not to mention most people stole score scripts from other sources.
I don't do playing instrument but aren't there other ways to write music than using the website?

... You're kidding right?
You have to learn how to compose with MML first before anything, or else you'll make a bunch of random crap that sounds more like ear rhape than anything.

I still don't know how to compose with MML and yet I was able to make my own scores prior to all this. "You have to learn"? Not at all.

I bet it sounded like ear rhape and random notes.

Composing in the MML isn't hard, I did it back in the day. I remember that there was a guide that explained how it worked and I remember it being pretty simple. Ah, good times, feels like an eternity now...

The MML coding itself isn't complicated, and it'll be easy if you have a good midi to work with, or if you know how to read sheet music.
But when you need to fit a 15-track midi into a solo score, or when you listen to the same tune over and over to pick up that bass line... it can get tedious :gloom3:.
There is
a really good music guide on Nation that can help get you started.
