Is this supposed to look like this?

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

I had to uninstall Vindi because it was acting stupid, but when I go to reinstall, everything is all whited out, and the progress bars don't move AT ALL. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be like this, since when I first installed Vindi, I actually saw the pictures and progress and stuff.

Is there any way to fix it? I mean, everything is whited out. The window that asks what directory to install into, the "cancel installation" window... everything.

Let me list my common questions.

1:Did you have internet while doing the installation?
2:Was your internet working properly, or did it have any problems while somebody was torrenting, installing something online?
3:Was someone else using your connection?
4:Did you restart your computer?

If none of those are no help, welp I'm done.

A Toshiba Laptop that's not even 1.5 years old. I know it's not the computer, the installation hasn't always been like this. Everything is updated, as well.

Regardless, everything seems to be working. It finished installing, I just need to patch it. It's just annoying not to be able to see how far into things I am.
