Also, King, last I checked.. defending Americans didn't mean invading other countries, raping and killing their people, and claim it's 'helping'.
And last I checked that wasn't the intention of our commanders or our country. That was individual soldiers doing. The only thing we can do about that is court marshal that and provide training to try and prevent that from happening.
Soldiers do stupid things when under a large amount of stress in the heat of combat.
Also I'm not aware of what either of you are talking about. The only thing I'm aware of is faulty operations that we have attempted to try and catch some of the Mexican drug cartels and then losing track of the merchandise we were trying to incriminate them with.
Which that responsibility falls on the agents and their failures. Not the country as a whole.

Gang members in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, killed and beheaded the moderator of a social network, the Houston Chronicle reported Wednesday.
“Hi, I’m Rascatripas,†read the note on a blood-stained blanket left with the body. “This happened to me for not understanding that I shouldn’t report on the social networks.â€
This is the fourth murder in the area in the past three months that appears to be related to victims’ social media activities. Another blogger on the same site, Marisol Macias Castaneda, was found beheaded in the same location as Rascatripas in late September. A couple of weeks earlier, two bodies were found hanging from a pedestrian overpass with a sign (pictured above) that threatened, “This will happen to all the Internet snitches.â€

Why not allow Iran to develop their nuclear program? Now while I don't sympathize with the Iranian government, I still think it's extremely hypocritical for the US and Israel (the two biggest nuclear power houses in the world) to be bullying Iran over having a nuclear program. So far the US has been the biggest nuclear threat in the world (two whole cities vaporized in WWII).
Letting them develop a nuclear program does have it's high risks:
They have alot, ALOT of suicidal religious nutcases who'll smuggle nuclear weapons into terrorist organisations. Don't say they wont, because they will, and when they do they'll make stealth nukes and use whatever material they have for dirty human nukes where ever they want.
The Iranian people chant and pray just like North Korea "Death to America" in their daily prayers, they have a HUGE malicious grudge against the western world, and the European nations.
Trusting them of all people with WMD's is like trusting a pyromaniac with a pack of matches and a lighter and expecting them not to light something on fire with them.
The reason we are hated so much is because of all our massive military intervention in the area. If we quit levying all these sanctions and quit getting involved in all their conflicts, they probably won't hate us as much.
