Quote from Kingofrunes;751183:
And last I checked that wasn't the intention of our commanders or our country. That was individual soldiers doing. The only thing we can do about that is court marshal that and provide training to try and prevent that from happening.
Soldiers do stupid things when under a large amount of stress in the heat of combat.
Also I'm not aware of what either of you are talking about. The only thing I'm aware of is faulty operations that we have attempted to try and catch some of the Mexican drug cartels and then losing track of the merchandise we were trying to incriminate them with.
Which that responsibility falls on the agents and their failures. Not the country as a whole.
Personal responsibility and accountability is what I go by.
No country is perfect and no army is perfect. **** happens when it's war. Besdies, War is hell and all's fair in war. Or that's how the saying goes.
No, you sent the guns to keep the conflict local. You see, your country loves fighting on foreign soil, but seems too scared to fight in their own land. But alas, the conflict is already spilling too your country, let's see how that goes.
Also, you know, if someone has the power to call an operation at that scale I would think they kind of represent their countries, you know, by being prime examples and all that jazz.
And just for the record, your little "mistake" has costed us the lives of thousands down here, so yeah, please, stop trying to "help" us.
