...For me.
Tomorrow is Canada Day and my dad has decided to have me be "Safety Bear." This suit is very uncomfortable and generally unpleasant to reside in. It is so covered in dirt that the bear looks more like a brown bear that was taken advantage of instead of the polar bear covered in mud that it is. It also smells indescribably horrible.
...
I'll be in this suit for 8 hours.
I am also asking for advice, mainly from Phunkie. I'm pretty sure Phunkie is a mascot for something right? How do I stop myself from strangling kids?
Also, I'll post pictures later... Maybe...

Wearing a bear outfit can represent many things. Safety is not one of them.

Yeah, I start on Monday. lmao But my suit is clean. o_o
I would say take a lot of breaks, you know? You don't have to be entertaining kids 24/7. Take some water breaks, especially since you may be in the Sun for long. What time do you start and when do you finish btw?
Oh and do you get paid? lmao
POST SOME PICTURES!!

And if you feel like a certain kid is annoying you, just eat the little brat.

I start some time in the morning. I think around 8-10. I'm not getting paid BTW. I already have a job here so I'm using this as community service. Ontario kids need 40 hours of community service to finish high school.

Oh wow, that's early. But hey, at least it won't be so hot towards the afternoon/evening of your shift.
Whenever you feel exhausted or extremely hot, take a 15 min break or something, if they let ya. Or go get a bottle of water. You'll have a little kids pointing and perhaps even tugging at you throughout most of the day, but it should calm down eventually. You know, after the whole omg-its-a-polar-bear-covered-in-dirt-lets-hug-him rush is over.
Maybe you get to scare some of them too! :pissedoff: In a good way, of course.

Just try to have fun with it. Oh and maybe bring some Febreze for the smelly insides. :P

I was forced to wear a Clifford costume when I was volunteering at a library. Just take your head part off when it gets hot and when there aren't kids around.

We need 75 hours of community service.
My friend already has 850 hours racked up, he's going for 1,000.
I only have 200 though, mostly from summer volunteer.
I'm finally NOT doing it this year >:|

Oh Moppy.
Try not to let your bear instincts overcome you.
