Just another one of his guides. It goes into detail about Alchemy.....Or so I think?

I. What is Alchemy?
Alchemy is, as of G9, the newest skills in Mabinogi. These skills are mostly meant to be a support class, IE :: Barrier Wall, Synthesis, Wind Blast Etc. But this guide is for A full fledged Alchemist (Like me ^^).
When people get their first attacking skill, Water cannon, they automatically try it out and think of alchemy as a "Magic" type of skill. INCORRECT! Alchemy is actually a very tricky close ranged skill. How? More later in the Skills section.
II. Stats
This is the most KEY thing people should learn about alchemy. IT IS NOT DEPENDENT ON STATS! This means you don't need to rank up any life skills to boost your stats for you to do more damage. I was doing hundreds at level 15, and all my stats were under 30 =P
III. Pro's / Con's
There are many ups and downs to Alchemy. Many Cancel each other out, but if they're patched up, alchemy can be a superior "Job."
~Pros~
1. Not dependent on stats. This means you can save your AP from those Life skills o3o
2. Diverse skills. The skills each have a certain purpose that help one another.
3. High Damage
4. Skills do not need a lot of AP (Skills max around 150 AP)
5. Golem summoning keeps the Alchemist relatively safe.
6. Monsters in the Shadow World are weak against water, so you do more Damage on them. ^^
-Cons-
1. Low HP and Defense*
2. Uses a massive amount of Stamina
3. You must charge every attack, and there's no ChainCasting until later Generations
4. No upgrades (yet)
5. Few enchants
6. Since you don't depend on stats, when you max out your alchemy skills, your damage will be fixed.
*- If you are a Full (Metal =P) Alchemist.
IV. Epuipment
Anything you want really. Wear anything you think looks nice (That's what i do). Make sure you have a Cylinder though, you need that to use skills...
If your a veteran Mabinogian, you know that having the best equipment is nothing if it doesn't have good enchants. Alchemy doesn't depend on stats, but any enchants you have on will effect your Alchemy. My advice is to get any damaging enchants for your equipment.
My second advice for equipment, for anyone with Rank 5+ Water Cannon, anything with Stamina use Reduction properties. At rank one, you'll be using 5 Stam per charge, which means at 300 stamina, you'll only be able to charge 60 times. That might seem a lot of charges, but just wait until your constantly fighting things.
V. Skills
The Offensive Skills of Alchemy all do better damage at close range, up to 200% more than far range. Alchemy requires you to get up close and personal to your enemy, so it's better to research the monster's Aggro pattern before fighting it.
Here's a list of the skills and how to obtain them~
-Note I won't be explaining Synthesis, Fragmentation or Mana Crystallization in this guide.
Water Cannon::
Your basic water attack. This is what you'll be using as your main attack until G10. Water Cannon Stack up to five and fires all your charges at once. Each charge requires one Water Crystal, which is used up when you make a successful attack.
Water cannon does the most damage at close range. Water Cannon knock back the enemy at close range only. The range can be considered between rank F WM and Rank 5 WM range. It increases as the skill rank does.
A good thing to note is that water cannon will knock back a monster using defence if the monster is within the knock back range.
Method to Obtain :: Simply pick up or purchase a Crystal of Water. Eabha sells them in stacks of 10 and 50 for 100G and 500G, respectively.
Wind Blast
This skill is a wind skill that knocks back your enemy for MINOR damage. Knocks back an enemy in defense, but doesn't seem to work against a Giant using Wind Gaurd(Tested, but unsure). The closer you are to the opponent, the farther back they get blown. The knock back range increases as the skill rank increases.
If Wind Blast is used twice within a certain period of time, not necessarily in a row, the Wind Blast icon will start to blink black.
When a successful Wind Blast is used within this period, making up the third shot, there will be a cooling time of approximately 1 minute applied.
Requires a Wind Crystal to use.
Method to Obtain :: Talk to Eabha about skills.
Barrier Spikes
A wall made of wood that can be placed near the user. This skill is useful to help you occupy your enemies with (Mobs will aggro the wall sometimes), help you make a fort to prepare an advance magic crystal, or help you run away.
The wall isn't perminate nor is it invinsible, it has HP. A wall can usually hold its ground long enough for you to heal, or prepare something to get revenge from your enemy destroying your fort o3o.
At rank 9 your wall is made with spikes, so when a monster attacks your wall, some damage is refelcted back to it. At rank 5, you are able to use ranged attacks, magic, or alchemy throught the wall.
Walls can only be used in the Shadow World or dungeons.
Method to Obtain :: Finish The Alchemist Seal RP of G9
Life Drain
An alchemy skill that drains the HP of the target and adds it to the user's HP. This skill will not be useable if you have full HP.
You must be careful when using this skill since a monster can attack you if it reaches you before the knock back. The drain speed is increased at rank 9.
The skill is currently capped at 6
A life drain Crystal is needed to use the skill.
Method to Obtain :: Finish ''The Advance Team's Mission'' of G9
Alchemy Mastery
The center of Alchemy. This skill increases your percent of success in Fragmentation, Synthesis, and Mana crystalization. Not only does it increase the success rate of Alchemy skills, but it increases the damage of Alchemy skills.
This skill is Hell to rank, but it is extremely useful to all alchemists. The skill is capped at rank 9.
Method to Obtain :: Equip a Cylinder
Summon Golem
"Need a buddy? Feeling lonely while training? Well come get your own golem today!"
Well there are several wrong things about that Quote... Most people train with people, and a golem can't fight by itself. Summoning a golem allows you to take control of your own Golem. Simple to control, you fight as your Golem while leaving your body behind to control the golem. Yes, you cannot control yourself while your fighting as your golem. This leaves you vulnerable to attacks.
To summon a golem, you need a Golem stone, depending on which golem you wish to summon. Stone, forest, sulfur or snow.
Method to Obtain :: Read book purchased from Dorren for 28,800g
VI. Tactics
Water counter :: WC>Counter>WC>Counter>Repeat
-Recommended with R9+ Water cannon
-Uses a lot of Stamina
Water+Wind :: WaterCannon>WindBlast>WaterCannon>WindBlast>Repeat
-Tricky timing
Flood :: 5 charges of WC>WC>WC>WC>...
-Esentially like Ice spam.
-If the enemy is stunned, and you have a slow WC, use windblast.
Barrier :: Watercannon>wind blast very close>barrier spikes>Prepare a Fully charged WC
-Credited to greghouse ^^
VII. Notes
To train your skills quickly, make a party and change the finish to Anyone Finish. Kill monsters with your good skills, then switch to your cylinder.
Attack things UP CLOSE! You'll get a knock back bonus and more damage.
Always Charge things before combat.
Make things like a mad man for Alchemy Mastery.
Don't fight with low rank Alchemy...
Have fun~ Hope This guide helped ^~^
