Quiz Event: Introduction

  WELCOME TO NATION'S SECOND QUIZ EVENT (PUZZLE HUNTING THESIS: BEGINNING)! Huh? What happened to the first quiz event? The adventurers got lost in Avon. They are probably alive though. N-Not like this has to do anything with this event... Anyways, Lyre and I have been planning this for quite a while now. THIS IS A QUIZ EVENT THAT WILL MAKE YOU PUNCH A HOLE THROUGH YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN AND THROW IT OUTSIDE THE WINDOW!
  
  Anyways, first thing is first. When will this event start? This event will start on the first of February and it will end on the 29th.
  
  What? Why should you join this event? Well, for lulz of course. Also...
  
  First place winner could choose the game that they want from the list below and they will also win 30k in nation gold.
  
  Second place winner could also choose the game that they want (unless the first place winner wants that game too, you should have tried harder) and they will also get 5k in nation gold.
  
  As for the rest of you, you'll be splitting the remaining 15k if you reach a certain amount of points. However, should the remaining pool divide be more than 2.5k, then it caps at 2.5k and the second place will get the remainder.

  So here are a few rules and instructions:
  
  -We will be posting a new riddle every day.
  -A riddle will expire after four days.
  -The value of a riddle will decrease with each passing day.
  -To answer a riddle, you MUST send [B]me a private message with the riddle and the answer.
  -Anybody can join the event at anytime. We'll keep track of the people who scored points and we'll update the thread with a scoreboard on the first post.
  -The points you earn from a riddle will vary depending on the difficulty of the riddle. This will give the people who are late a chance to redeem themselves. [/B]

  Please forgive the double post, but I just want to remind everyone that the event starts on the 1st of February, meaning this Wednesday. (For those of you who try to ignore calendars like I do, that's the day after tomorrow.)
  
  We're going to pick one of the easier riddles in the medium difficulty range to start out with. Something not too hard that gives enough points to be worth an incentive to show up on day 1, so bring your thinking caps!
