So, I was on this game, called whirled, I thought it was 18+, (it was 13+ little did I know) and I posted hentai on there, i was told i might get the cops called on me for exposing porn to minors, I did "contact us" and told them about the misunderstanding, I wanna fess up to the police but the town I'm in literally has no police station, what should I do?

There's no such offense as "showing porn to minors". And even if, unless the police in your area were the ones issuing the warning, you've got nothing to worry about.
They're either idiots or are trolling you.

Wow, so they got me worried over nothing, it was spammed BTW.
I mean would the admins be able to actually contact the police about it though?

Basically, yes. If you were posting child porn, then that would be a whole 'nother issue. But simply posting adult content around minors isn't a legal offense.

It wasn't child porn, it was hentai.

If anything, the police would get mad at them for calling them for such a stupid reason.

Are you sure? I know it's illegal in Germany (
StGB §184 1.1), and I'd bet it is in some US-states too.

I doubt they'll call the cops.
Cops are barely involved with the internet unless they're doing some type of undercover operation.
I had a friend who torrented a episode of some random comedy show and the worst he got was a letter from Comcast (the internet service provider) telling him that they received a complaint made specifically for that IP address for illegally obtaining the episode.
The cops weren't involved, neither were the FBI or CIA or anything like that.
Don't worry about it, people have done worse and not gotten caught.

From what I know, yeah. It only counts when it is
a) Child pornography (I think animal porn is also illegal?)
b) Exposing
yourself to a minor
Though I think it's also an offense if you yourself go up to the kid inrl and force them to watch it with you. But on the internet? No, since you can't force someone to view porn on the internet-- you can easily log off, leave that thread, etc etc.

I've done worse and not gotten caught, but I was contacted.
