I hate how a lot of new laptops have a really miserly LCD with resolutions like 1366x768. It is a wide screen version of the old standard 1024x768, and it does give you more desktop real estate. However, from setting up a few of these at work, the screen space just isn't enough to multitask...
Or I'm just too spoiled with high resolutions >w<
Either way, try for at least a resolution of 1440x900 on a 15". It's a much better experience.

PROTIP: When you game on a notebook you always plug it in so the battery doesn't run out within an hour, lol.
And take off the battery when plug in.
Unless you want to reduce you're battery life.

You dont need a gaming laptop to run mabinogi and wc3.
Standard laptops with any kind of graphics card will run the game perfectly fine at max frames.
Given that for the first year or two I'll stick to my aforementioned games, I don't want to end up being shafted if something else comes out later and I can't play it (Tera comes to mind). Thus I searched for gaming notebooks.

30% BCB today for HP stuff. Guess that does it, I'll probably order when my parents are home..
Sucks that HP Warranty is so expensive though. Should I buy the 4 year plan?
