I guess to some degree it's possible but.. you will not get what you expected.. The result could be relatively dangerous too so it's best if people without the right knowledge don't try..

Unfortunately, some people are bound to be into some pretty terrible things beyond having a few fetishes. It's easier said than done ;__;
It works out nicely if you're not too weird, though.
Well, for the most part, you should still be proud of it. Just because a lot of people will laugh or think it's stupid doesn't mean it actually is.
Naturally this doesn't apply to every single thing, but like I said; If you let the world's opinion push you around like a sack of hay, then your opinion probably isn't worth very much in the first place.

Those are the things I'm talking about.
I'm pretty accepting of virtually anything, but many people will become very upset instantly if someone has an interest in certain topics, or has certain desires, etc. Some things just piss everyone off and even if you don't care about their opinions, it's sometimes better to not upset everyone pointlessly when you gain nothing from it.
I mean, what do you have to prove? If you believe in it yourself and you know no one else likes it or will ever accept it, there's nothing to gain. You can be yourself without being really outward and pushy about it.

Do I believe demon summoning? Meh. Some people do it, although I do believe on the rare occasion that it may actually attract a demon.
To believe that humans beings are special in some way and therefore could control them ... yeah. Nope.
So really, I think 95% of it is mostly nonsensical stuff. Probably the more "mainstream" incantations and rituals.
If they actually worked all the time, you would hear about it more often.
Honestly, it's a path that [S]will[/S] might be very dangerous to yourself and those around you.

Demons do exist, however summoning isn't so easy. Demons don't come just because people just try to summon them for the sake of summoning them. Usually, they come if you do something that upsets them.
You think sleep paralysis is just a physiological problem based on the body not waking up while the mind is? Think again. Back in 2006, I tried going to this charismatic church to "get back to God". However I think by doing so, it pissed off something evil because I suddenly got this unexplainable tingling sensation on the back of my spinal cord the following day. Didn't think much of it, but it continued on for months and I got worried. I went to see a doctor but they told me "everything is normal".
Along with the tingling spine, I began to experience sleep paralysis every night. I tried to explain it off first, telling myself it's just my brain waking up before my body.
However, things just didn't make sense. I wake up, I'm pinned down completely. I try calling out to my mom because I can see a figure right at my bedroom door with the lights outside on. At least I assume it's my mom, but then I can't talk and pressure is put on my eardrums as well. About 5 seconds later, everything went back to normal. I can move again but the outside lights were never on. My mom was still sleeping on the other side of the 2nd floor. I can understand halluncinations caused by sleep paralysis but this was way too real.
Weird thing is that it repeated 2 to 3 times a week, with the same exact thing happening every time.
And it continued to happen...until I stopped going to that church. Too weird to be a coincidence to be explained by just science....I do believe something exists out there but not sure what it is~

Nope. Skepticism FTW. I don't mean to disrespect anyone's opinions or beliefs, but I refuse to believe in fairies and goblins without solid, scientific proof that they are real; I don't mean EMPs and electromagnetic fields, either. Looking at something with faith alone is as good as looking at something while blind if you ask me.

No need for demon summoning and magic. Humans and technologies are already the real demons and magic in the modern world.

Well you can also read the user manual. And the user manual for reality kind of contradicts that of summoning demons, so you can't play both at once.
I'm sorry... what user manual are you referring to?

Hmm, I do like that idea. However, there's also the fact that some people don't really want to be marginalized or ridiculed for believing something popular no matter how true they think it is. This seems especially likely on some seemingly trivial subjects, where the person doesn't really feel the need to fight hard for a belief.
