Is there a certain trick when it comes to normal dye ampoules? I am trying to get red on an outfit and it was a lot more difficult than getting black in my opinion... o-o;
So can you guys teach me your ways? :cry:

nope, red is always 1/5 as far as i'm concerned since there's only 1 part of the palette where something along the lines of true red exists

A fixed red is always easier, but those are only on sale for the December holidays. With a standard dye amp, it can take a long time to get the colors you want, and then there's the 1 yuck color with the 4 nice ones. Luck shows itself there.

Yeah, afaik the most you could normally get is 1/5 of a decent close to true red. No true reds exist on a regular Dye Ampoule's palettes, you have to use a fixed for that.
Even if you could get a 2/5, one would either be closer to a brown shade, or have a pink tone to it.

its possible to get 2/5 pure dark reds from the same regular dye, its just really, really rare

for me black seems to actually be one of the easiest colors to get.. I get three out of five.. other colors, like white and red take a looooong time..
..there's a special program that helps you pick colors, but it's korean based..so..orz
