Meeeeeeee. As my final college paper, I'm writing about Vocaloid and collective creation.
So I need help from people throughout the semester.
First thing is I want to make a short mash-up of good songs as an introduction to my presentation, so I want to know what some of your favorite songs are? Least favorite? Favorite Vocaloids? Least favorite?
They need to be OFFICIAL vocaloids, for the sake of simplicity. No Utaloids.

You can check out a few things from 40mP, wowaka, Deco*27, Papiyon, and Ryo/Supercell to get started.
They're pretty good.

Specific songs, please. I can't look through all the composers specifically for songs to pick. I have some in mind already but I want to see people's specific favorites.
I've been listening to Vocaloid for years so I have a really wide spectrum. I need help narrowing some down and getting introduced to new things while not getting trapped by browsing myself, since this paper actually has quite a bit that needs to be researched.

What's the purpose of your paper? If it's for informative purposes, I could probably write 30+ pages on Vocaloid too :D

Oh, the concerts are definitely getting covered, along with the commercials and all that jazz.
There are a LOT of things I could cover, but I need to keep it close to the 15-page limit because on top of this paper I also have my thesis project, which is completely unrelated.
The paper is basically talking about a single product creating an entire subculture and how that happened.

I understand it, but I'm also biased since I'd count as a fan.
But it's like any fandom out there: not for everyone.
I still prefer actual people, unless someone can manage to make a song that sounds like Kalafina with Vocaloid. Then I'd be like...blown away.

good luck on ur paper just make sure u do a good job on the origin of vocaloid because many people have bad understanding and wrong impressoin of what vocaloid TRULY is and what MIKU TRULY IS
