Am I seriously the only one who sees this as nothing but a PR campaign for heroes?
Nope, I think its also a campaign, but I love vindictus, it was about a year probably into playing vindictus that I even knew it was a prequel to mabinogi (I hate mabinogi >.<)

I imagine vind was meant to be a prequel to mabi, but the devs forgot what the story was to mabi, and couldn't re-learn it because it doesn't make any sense.
So they said vind was in another reality. Both vind/mabi's stories are incredibly shallow so I really care what they call it.

I thought that Invertex cleared things up, but contradictions everywhere. D:

MMO's tend to lack storylines.

But the character locked ones tend to have a story line.
I honestly dont understand why we still have characters in this. There is NO character involvement at all.

I think there are many explanation as to the seeming inconsistencies in the history of the games. For one, Albey is an area in Vindictus, suggesting that it could in fact, tack place in Tir Na Nog. This would mean that the current inhabitants of Mabinogi crossed the barrier between the worlds, perhaps this led to them not remembering Tir Na Nog clearly, hence it becoming a legend. By breaking through the barrier, it also allowed fomors to trickle in, starting the Fomor Wars which are prevalent in Mabi history. Since the Vindictus storyline hasn't been completed to the point in history where we know Mabi takes over, there's no telling which way it could go.
