Quote from Nexon:
Dear players,
Nexon wants to bring you the very best in free-to-play games. A big part of that commitment is helping you keep your account safe and secure.
To that end, Nexon is proud to be a part of the Merchant Risk Council’s Gamer Safety Alliance, a partnership of nine global companies committed to providing players everywhere with information and resources for safe and enjoyable gaming!
In observance of the Alliance’s first annual Gamer Safety Week, we’d like to remind you of a few simple steps you can take to protect your account.
Tips for Protecting Your Account
* Never give out your account information. Nexon will never ask you for your personal information, such as your account password.
* Update your Nexon account password regularly. This is your first line of defense! Choose something that is easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
* Always use additional account security options. Remember, the secondary security questions, Verify with Facebook, and in-game second passwords or PINs provide an extra layer of protection.
* Be wary of third party sites and offers. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Phishing sites may use URLs similar to the official Nexon site or may promise free NX. It’s almost always a scam to steal your account information. Make sure you are on the official Nexon site before logging in.
* Report suspicious activity. You can submit a ticket at any time through our Customer Support portal to alert us of malicious player activity.
Remember, you can visit your Account Settings page at any time to update your account information.
Together, we can keep our games safe, secure, and enjoyable for everyone!
The Nexon Team

"do what i say, don't do what i do" way to go nexon. Still waiting for them to admit the server leak that caused players to lose nx to bots
They don't even use SSL for the "manage account" page >>

I just really can't agree with this at all.
Do all the 5 things, and you'll still get hacked. With Nexon, it's just waiting for the inevtiable.

1.Nope
2.Doesn't really reduce the chance of being hacked.
3. With Nexon's security? lol
4.Does that mean the "Free NX" section is a scam?
5.Report it with tickets? Since when does Nexon read those?
