Bare in mind, I'm still a complete noob here. :l
I currently have a level 29 Elf.
First off, skills.
I'm wondering what skills are recommended to rank first. From what I've heard, Windmill is a very important skill although I've neglected to rank that. I've basically just decided to go down the Archer build, but I need some help on that.
Next, training.
The question is just as you would think. Where do I "train"? I'm going to be needing all of that AP.
Or would it be better if I just do quests?
Oh, and money making.
I've been selling Holy Waters for a long while. At the rate that I do it, I make about ~100k-150k a day, depending on how much I sell them for. It's been a decent income so far (but then again, this is coming from someone who's dirt poor), but I'm wondering if there's a more efficient way to do this.

Ok. Level 29.
What we really need is what skills are at what rank and such. Do you have falcon?
Right now at a total level 29 you can still go for longa normal. At a higher level try Shadow Warrior Basic. Dont go for Intermidiete because that most likely will be to much of a gap to cross.
Your making money at a good clip for a beginner. There isnt much you can do other than that other than spam missions.
We need more info though, and go make a intro thread :P

If you going to go archer build, Range Mastery is the most important skill you need to rank. WM isn't really important for elves at all. They can get by without it. Although, if you magically have r9/r5/r1 WM, it would help more than not having it.
After Range Mastery, Magnum and Mirage Missiles are two important range skills for elves since one deals with single targets and another deals with multiple monster.
You probably need to start finding -dex stuff to make refining easier since you probably won't have enough money to buy ores. Another idea is to get another character to metallurgy the ores out. Most people would recommend getting and finishing mythril fails at rank 2 refine before your dex gets too high.

I'd say at least get WM to rank 5 and then focus on all your range skills. But make sure you get refine out of the way before you get your dex too high.

As for skill ranks, let's just say that there isn't anything above Rank E. I was kind of ranking random skills when I first started, which was stupid of me, but it's not like I can do anything about it now. If you really need specific ranks, I'll have to log-on and see. I'll do that in a while.
No, I don't have Falcon yet. I've stopped on the part where I have to sketch the boss in the Karu Forest dungeon. I can probably do that easily, though, I just need to get someone else to help me out.

So Refining would be a priority?

People say Refining's a Dex priority because you need failures to get some much need points. Most ranks of Refining cannot be finished with just success alone. Since Dexterity raises success rate of Production skills like Refining, having high Dexterity will lower the failure rate of Refining, making it harder to train.
What does Dexterity mean for Elves? Dexterity determines Ranged damage, so that's why it's a priority as an Elf.
What you generally want to do is raise Ranged skills first after Refining, then skills that build Dex (mostly Production skills) for additional damage. For training, starting out with single-aggro dungeons is a good way, such as Longa Regular, or Rabbie Regular for more EXP.
100-150k a day is a lot of income for someone who just started out. XD

I would take ranged attack to 1. When you get proficient at ice-zero shot (stop them w/icebolt, run into point blank range and shoot when you hit 99%, load ice when enemy gets knocked back; you aim very quickly at close ranges) you can go anywhere that's mainly single aggro. Try
r5 ranged
r9 crit
r9 ice
r1 ranged
start refining
r1 crit
r9 wm
r9 magnum
...
If you take up wm or refining first you'll be terribly weak and progress slowly. Best to work on your ranged abilities to get a footing first.

Also wm to 9 should be FIRST priority because of the decreased load time.
Yeah so ranged attack, refine, and magnum for now. If your interested in final shot or mirage missle. Go get them and try them out.
