I'm deathly afraid of the dark, but only when I'm inside. I could be outside in the middle of nowhere at night, and it wouldn't even phase me. However, when I'm inside my mind makes shadows into figures and faces and it really freaks me out.

After I watch a good scary movie, omg yes.

I used to think I was, but it seems to stem from my fear of abandonment/being alone and also my vivid paranoia.
It isn't too bad unless my mind decides to play tricks on me or I happened to watch/read a scary movie/book/story. But aye, the mind is your worst enemy.

Nope. I always go out really late at night to go do shopping for supplies sometimes. I never really have been, though.

I am. xD
I can't stand being in the dark without someone there with me.
it could just be walking down the hall or through the kitchen.
Up until the point when I flip the lights on, it's so... I dunno. Worrisome for no reason. xD
One time the light burned out right as I turned it on and I got plunged into darkness after expecting the lights to come on and I kinda freaked out and rushed through the hall to get to the last available light. xD
It was an embarrassing display and I'm just glad everyone else was asleep so they didn't have to see that. xD

I was never afraid of the dark.
I was like, never awake when it's dark when I was little anyway. Maybe that's why?

This would be a lygophobics nightmare.. Good thing I ain't afraid of the dark! MUAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Just imagine.. you're walking to your bedroom, you walk past the bathroom, somebody jumps out of the bathroom and grabs you, you manage to flip on a light, and there it is! A ZOMBIE! Soon zombies are surrounding your house, you grab your shotgun out of the closet, the zombies are busting in the doors and windows, there's no way out! You have to fight through hordes of the undead, and all you have is 5 rounds in your shotgun, AND A TANK IS COMING!!!!!!

Only when I know there's something I can't see which would make my toe hurt really bad if I walked against it.

This part made it ridiculous instead of actually terrifying. But the beginning was good.
