So this customer I helped earlier with a carry-out called the store and basically thought she didn't get all her bags because I stole them, while she went to get her car.
:fail3:
She was on register 7, checking out. I get called over so I'm standing back waiting for the transaction to be over. The cashier has a problem, that I know how to fix so I get behind the register and finish the transaction for her. Then I follow the customer out the door with her merchandise. She comes and brings her car around, while taking a bag with her.
When she brings her car around I go to put the last 3 bags into her car and she takes 2 to put into her backseat. I put the 3rd on the side then grab the tv stand and put that in the back as well.
So I would have had a total of 45 seconds to grab her bags, and throw them somewhere she wouldn't see. What would I even do with 2 shelf liners, a bath rug, and 2 knives?
I had to walk back to the AP Office, back near claims, with a manager and checked the camera's. Totally innocent, and when the manager called her back she didn't even apologize. She was real ****ing rude on the phone when describing me to my CSM though.
45 minutes of my life wasted.

Walmart, was it?
If it is, I'm not surprised.

Unfortunately.
First time for me though, and haven't really heard about this since I started working there. Though it doesn't completely shock me.

Apologize? You people are expecting too much from customers nowadays.
Don't worry, the longer you work in Wal-mart, the more you will encounter these people. The notion of the "customer first", and "customer is always right" type thinking breeds these types of monsters. Be glad that you didn't end up on the news or something because the media only listened to the customer, and labeled it corporate greed.
Sure, not all customers are like this. In fact, most customers aren't like this, but it doesn't take very much bad customers to ruin your day or just mood.

I feel bad for walmart employees
how often do you buy things from walmart Brad?
Studies show a lot of walmart employees end up spending their paycheck on products from walmart
thus they aren't really losing any money by paying employees D:

Lol, the apology more or less a joke. (With a hint of why the **** didn't this ***** apologize?).
I wish she would take it to the media, I will call the news and be like "This is how it went down, ****ing people these days ignorant as ****. End of story."

Lol not a whole lot. I don't support Walmart, at all. Well I mean besides working for them, and saving them a lot of money and stress by knowing 95% of the store. But ya, financially nope. I try and cost em money when I can though bwahahaha

Welcome to retail.
The most annoying thing customers ask me is "Do you work here?" when I'm standing behind the pharmacy counter with my nametag and white coat....
