Okay, so basically I have this cat. Her name is Star, and she is my baby. I feed her, I take care of her, I play with her, I just love her with all my heart.
This has been her schedule as of recent though:
Wakes me up at 5-6 AM to let her out of my Room
Does whatever outside of my room until I wake up
When I wake up I feed her
Before I leave school at 8 I let her outside to play and have fun
When I come home at 3 I let her back inside
I play with her a little, or she does her own thing til around 5PM
She then comes into my room and joins me as I'm using my computer and gets on her bed and sleeps till the next day
IS IT OKAY FOR HER TO BE SLEEPING THIS MUCH?

Cats tend to rest/sleep a lot at varying times. My cats sit with me pretty much the entire time I'm up, which is at-least 14 hours a day.
Cats usually sleep around 12-16 hours a day, but it can be up to 20. So unless she shows any other signs of being sick, she's fine.

She's as energetic as always in the morning!
God, I love her so much <3

Sounds fine to me, then~
She might just like to sleep or laze around a lot. Some kitties are super active but also sleep a lot.
They remind me of kids; always energetic, but they need to nap a lot.

My cat sleeps about 14-16 hours a day. Only wakeing up to mess around with us, eat, or to greet us when we come back home.
Yeah my cat bounces/runs around the house in the morning too. :3 Don't worry your kitty is perfectly fine/normal.

She's almost a year old, so I guess she's still a kitten. And I'm sure she spends plenty of energy while she's outside for around 8 hours

You don't need to be a cat to sleep 16 hours a day, although you would need to be one if you want to be fed and laze around while doing it :D

Answered yourself.
Probably exploring the area around your house to get familiar with it, probably testing boundaries with other cats, while pushing hers further.

Predatory animals sleep longer. The higher up in the food chain the more sleep you tend to get.
Cats usually fit time for 14~20 hours every day.

Cats sleep 70% of their day, and it's a half-awake sleep so they can react instantly to any danger. It's like that so they have an extreme amount of energy when they are awake.
They're nocturnal predators, you know.

cats live a boring life. It's best for them to sleep most of it away to pass time..

That offends me, and my baby girl Star.
