Drugs. Lots and Lots of drugs.
Or trimming the vocal cords to get their voice that naturally high pitched. D:
And since there's no tank near her, we can't say that it's helium. :<
And I understand the handheld games having those crappy sound effects, but why can't the console games like Stadium and Colloseum (etc.) have people doing voices for the Pokemon. What Bob said about the lack of space is pointless, since you only need like two or three clips of Pokemon noises per Pokemon, so it's not going to take up as much space as his example of a game where actual humans that say more than their own name.

Drugs would still be cheaper. And more easy to find.
I was thinking that too. At least "Hey You Pikachu!" had pikachu talking pokelanguage.

I wondered about this too.
Their "go to" pokemon call seems to be "Kyaa-Kyaa" Does pikachu even say pikapika in the games, I think that says kyaa-kyaa too.
Mewtwo probably says it too.

They actually did have someone do the voicing for Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow so that when you send it into battle, it says "Pika!" and has all the "Pikachu" dialogs for things like talking to it and looking at it in your party.

I had fun with it for ten minutes. Then I got angry and kicked it off my team and placed it in lonely box 11 because it made my voice sound stupid.

It's that so you don't get people cussing at each other over Wi-fi? So even if they do it comes in distorted so you can't really understand it? That's what I read. I have two of them but I never used them. :p
