So I was talking with my mom over the phone while having lunch at the cafeteria and when I hang up some Asian guy (presumably Korean) comes up to me and asks:

Guy "Hey can you speak Korean?"
Me "Nope"
Guy "Buy I... just heard you speak Korean on the phone"
Me "Why'd you ask then?"

And then I left.

Phew. Friendship averted.

Anyways, seems my mom wants to pick me up and go to Madison to see my sister this weekend. My sister wants to go to some super expensive restaurant where I'll have to dress nice and each person costs like 60 dollars or something. She must be getting some sort of secret funding from my dad or something, because that girl spends like no tomorrow. Well, I'm not paying for it, maybe I'll try some expensive import wine or something ridiculous.

Just some tips for you to know:
White wine with dessert/sweet dishes. Absolutely do not drink red wines with desserts unless you're crazy.
Red wine goes well with savory dishes.

By the way, you know how to maximize the taste for wine, right?

Though, really, you don't need wine from France to enjoy it. The ones from California are quite well themselves in a different way.

I think that is more of a comment rather than actually telling you to inform you.

Call me shallow, but here are three reasons why I shut him down right away.

1. He's Asian. A forgivable mistake, but then he just had to go into
2. Starting the conversation about Koreanese. Gross. Probably the most fatal mistake.
3. He had no swag. Its optional, but man, can't be cramping my presence, you know? I guess I could befriend someone with no sense of style so I stand out more, but then it could also have the opposite effect.
