How, growing up as a Lann that always strives to get better and be one of the "good Lanns", I should have a lot of patience and understanding for those other lower levels to try and be good, but don't? The slightest mistake anyone makes gets me pissed and instead of trying to give instructive criticism, I rage. Maybe the elitist impression is affecting me, but this is not a pretty view.
Also, a lot of randoms, none of which above level 30, are in my guild channel. It's pissing me off, they don't belong get out!

I'd just ignore those type of people who just can't accept mistakes.

It's not your own channel. Channels are for everyone...Otherwise, they wouldn't be accessible for everybody.

I try to ignore them but it's getting really hard, especially if they repeat it over and over. And I know it's not my own channel, but I don't think a lot of people would go to some random channel, see a few people that happen to be in the same guild on there, and stay. AND call all their friends, telling ME to get off THEIR channel. Okay first of all, I was here since, what, September? I don't think you have a right to tell me to get out, I haven't provoked you or anything.

I don't think it's unnatural to be a bit annoyed by newer players, but everyone needs some space to learn the game. It's fine to get slightly angry once and a while, but I don't see the need to tell it to them directly. If you can't encourage or help them, the least you can do is not discourage them. For me, getting yelled at is one of the most disheartening things possible, and it really makes it hard to want to get better.
People will learn eventually. It might take people longer, but everyone learns. If something doesn't work, you eventually stop doing it. So I try not to comment too much on someone's playing (unless it's really good, which then I think they deserve some praise!). I usually don't have the time to focus on everybody else as often though. :<
I don't really understand the whole channel thing, simply as I've always just logged into the default channel and gone from there (unless I needed to meet someone). But if they're being jerks to you, I can understand why it's annoying. Sadly feeding the fire isn't the best way to do things, but there isn't much else to do. I find Rocheste is usually a lot quieter (no bots for starters), but I can understand wanting to stay in Colhen due to easier access to things.

I'm glad I moved to west server, people are nicer, and prices are better.
