  Sarcasm aside, I've been doing my best to gravitate away from mangafox and return to the days of direct downloading and visiting scanlator sites directly (go go mangaupdates). Mangafox has been building a pretty nasty reputation amongst the scanlator community that's becoming nearly as bad as Tazmo, the guy who runs (ran?) narutofan and bleachportal. Siphoning the free works of others and profiting from it. Although mangafox doesn't remove credit pages from what I've seen.

  Expect them to get hit next. This is not the first time Viz and company have put pressure on these sites, and it won't be the last. There was a fairly large coalition a few years ago that actually ended up with mangafox removing those very series that are listed in this thread. They sneaked them back onto the site about a 4-6 months after the pressure died down, but it's probably going to happen again. Also, because sites like mangafox are so popular (and ironically because they don't remove the credits on the things they upload), it's like putting a big bull's eye on the entire scanlation community, because now Viz's work gets reduced in tracking down the actual scanlators and issuing threats of legal actions since they have the names of the groups.
  
  Long story short, don't get comfortable, because VIZ is getting antsy again.

  Nah. Mangastream had a strong policy against having their works being rehosted. I don't know how many sites went along with their wishes, but I know that mangareader and mangainn uses mangazone's scans for the big three.

  Personally I prefer going to the scanlator's sites as well if they have an online reader. Mostly because their scans aren't resized and have a watermark added.
  
  Also to know, Redhawkscans received a DMCA for Beelzebub and Bakuman. Their response was that they won't host the works on their site anymore, but they couldn't help it if someone leaked their scans to rehosting sites.

  mangastream -was- the scanlator in this case. They did bleach, one piece, narutard and a few others. mangastream only provides their own work, they're not one of those big sites that shoves all kinds of manga on it.

  Mangafox didn't host mangastream's scanlations. They hosted mangazone's. Which are pretty subpar.
