So I get home from work and nobodies home, so I get firewood, feed the fire, give food to the dogs/cats and I sit down to relax.
10 minutes later Jose and his Brother come home.
No problems.
Another 10 minutes go by and all I hear is a growl, a bark, then whimpering and my German Shepard Dakota, running out of the laundry room with her head down. I go and check and she ended up biting our new 9 year old Jack Russel/Rat Terrier mix, Kody, that we adopted.
Bloods pouring down his face, I quickly pick em up and call Jose to help me. Dakota runs outside cause I start yelling at her. Jose smacks her on the nose, before she goes out the doggie door. I have a bleeding dog in my hands, trying to grab a paper towel to stop the bleeding.
I call Jose over, cause he doesn't know what to do, and I tell em to grab more paper towels and put pressure on the wound while I hold him steady. Then I ask his brother to hold the dog while I call my dad since Jose couldn't get his number right. Dad doesn't answer. Try my mom, no answer. Lil sis got a new phone/number so I can't call her. I have no idea where they are.
About 6 minutes later the bleeding finally slows down and I try calling my dad again, he finally picks up. Explain the situation to em, and then he said their gonna come home.
Luckily, Dakota only bit em on the snout, right below his eye, and didn't puncture through to his mouth but holy ****ing ****. Kody's such a lil dog and doesn't have much blood to give up so I was so scared.
Scolded the **** outta Dakota, cause she did this before when we got our Jack Russel, Shiloh. Practically the same place too. Dakota gets overly jealous, doesn't get her way all the time, gets territorial and bites em to show em whose boss. Then, we all freak out at her and the other dogs get more attention. Doesn't make sense from a humans perspective to continue doing this. Stupid dog.

It won't work, not when nobodies home. Just watching the dogs now when their eating or all around each other.

We used to have a cat that we let out and walk around the neighborhood, and one day she doesn't come home, and my parents tell my neighbors German shepherd killed it. :|

My german shepherd's cute and adorable. And he's the one getting abused by my minature pinscher D;
Poor Kody. You can't really do much if your shepherd get's jealous. When my dogs get overly jealous, I just yell at them and hit their snout. It doesn't exactly work all the time, but it's all I got.

Not really. Just very territorial, especially around smaller dogs. Inferiority complex. I'm bigger then you so you listen to me blah blah

I try and give em all equal attention but this will be the last time it happens. Happened once with Shiloh and was done.

It's fine that no greater damage is done, but why did you get a small dog yet again if you knew about the problem?
