Typical morning. Me being an idiot, and my baby Starlet being a slut.

She seems like a sweetie.
My cats don't like to play that often for some reason. Not sure if old or just not playful like other cats..

Oh My God. I love her so much. Like, she sleeps in my room with me, and she's been babied her entire life. I feed her, let her out, bring her in, play with her. She's like, my baby girl.

I don't really like cats. I mean, I do like cats but I've never wanted to own one. But ugh, I love Star so much. When we first got her I was mad at my mom because I didn't want to take care of her (which I knew I would have to do). At this point though, I'm so attached to her. It bothers me so much if she's not in my room when I go to sleep because I get scared that I left her outside. D:

Okay let us not compare two different types of animals. like omg Emily. My love for Star>your love for your dogs.

I hear it makes a tremendous amount of difference depending on how much you've interacted with them when they were kittens. They tend to be more distant if you let them grow up without babying them.

I've babied the hell out of 'um-- My cats cling to me every second of the day (and I mean that quite literally), which is why I'm confused as to why they never want to play as much as other cats seem to. I always find string or toys around the house to use, but they're just never that interested.

Sounds like they're lacking their hunting instincts or something. Maybe you could use something a little more "live" like a tiny rc car.

I wish I could say.
My boy, Fara, used to love to play. We just didn't have much time to do so since he loved spending the entire day outside. My girls on the other-hand just stay glued to my side. They both like to bring in little bugs during the warmer months and play with them mercilessly, but when I try and join in, it suddenly becomes "meh" to them.
They're obviously the more cuddly type, but yeah. Apparently I'm no fun to play with.

I actually end up being able to play with my rats more than my cats. It's hilarious.
They get a kick out of the cat balls we got for our girls, not to mention they love chasing string around. (provided there's some kind of treat at the end)

I used to play with her all the time since she was younger. There's a video of her in like, the second week in our house after she became a little more comfortable and less scared.
When she wasn't home, she'd kill all the mice. Well, there were two. And now they are gone after we got her <3
I was always worried when she was younger cause I would always play rough with her, so anytime Id put my hands next to her she'd bite them (lightly) or try to hit my hands with her paw. Didn't want her to always be like that, but as she got older she let's you pet her, and she sorta gets the message when you wanna play with her.
