I was wondering how different are they? I'm mainly curious how different they are in the corresponding subjects each class covers. So like, how different is the mechanic section of Phys C and Phys B? Is it that much harder? The only difference I see so far is that Phys C covers rotational motion and that you have to incorporate it into most of the problem in Phys C, that you did not need to do in Phys B. Any input is appreciated :thumb:

Physics B is pretty dam useless for college. Take C if you actually want to learn at the college level (and ensure that you get your AP credit transferred)

Well, I already took B last year, and I'm taking C this year, so I was wondering how different the two subjects were.

Wasnt B more mixed
and c more speicalized
I was told from my friends who did not take the classes but got double 4s on both b and c exam
B covers more topics with slightly less dept
C focuses greatly on newton and em with alot more dept

Yeah, B is a jack of all trades test whereas C is Newtonian Mechanics. The latter being much more relevant to college level physics but requiring calculus.

Alright, thanks to the both of you. I think I have a better idea of it now lol. Don't think self studying Phys C would be such a good idea anymore.

Yeah, my friend who took all three in the same year agrees LOL. He says it's not worth it unless you enjoy regular all-nighters.

Oh, he got all 5s. He said it didn't matter in the end though and he regrets ever doing it LOL
