So I was removing some programs from my HDD, since I like to keep my computer tidy. However, I was being a smartass and uninstalled something. Then my internet stopped working.
The thing I uninstalled was eternet driver. I can't remember the name of it either.
I'm using Vista, sadly.
Please help. :imdead:
Note: I can't system restore either. Because I'm an idiot that never bothered to keep a restore point.

Start > search > device manager.
You should be able to find your network adapter in the tree list there, with an error icon for not having a driver.
Right click the network adapter > properties > driver.
There should be an option there to install or maybe roll back the driver. Windows has a lot of generic default drivers built in, so it might find a match with one of those without you having to look for one online. Of course, it's usually best to download the driver yourself, from your computer manufacturer's support site.
