A good video card?

8600 GT is not high-end, but should make every game out there work, at least on lowest settings for those new games that are really high-end, since the card is 4 years old. (Like Metro 2033 for example, which still looks pretty good in lowest settings).

Here's a better suggestion (No, this is not a troll).

Considering your sister got NVidia, that means that your motherboard probably doesn't support ATI, so I did my best to find a good card for this.

Funny thing is, one person got an upgrade from that card your sister got. Also, this card about the same price, but more advanced. Tell your sister to return that one she has and pick this bad boy up.

Uses DDR5 and supports DX11 which is the latest technology.
