Well, survival horror Half-Life 1 mod, actually. It's called Cry of Fear. It comes out tomorrow and I was thinking of playing it alone, but I'm always scared shitless of horror games, so I'd thought I'd do a livestream so I wouldn't be (too) alone!

What I'm wondering is how many people would actually come watch, [s]and if I'd rather just watch some Youtube LP player do it instead.[/s]

I'll try to host the livestream every night this week, except Sunday. My only exception is if my parents are home (I don't want them to hear me). I don't have a set time, but I'll try to do it 8 PM - 1 AM Central Time Zone every night.

My plan is to finish the singleplayer before the start of March. I know that might seem like I'm a slow player, but I'd be slow when playing horror games.

Also, as a bonus (whether it is or not): I'll try to get my sister to watch and comment (as in, speak into the mic) alongside. Because I need her to not hog my bandwidth while I'm streaming. =)

I don't think it really matters at this point. I have a few people willing to watch me play, so I'll play CoF anyway. Unless my parents are home tomorrow, but if that happens I think I can squeeze something out so I won't disappoint everybody.

I'm going to test my bandwidth with Procaster tonight. Probably will play Paranoia to see how my streaming holds up.

Quick update:

My mother will be home tomorrow, so I might have to shorten the length of recording to start at either 8 or 9 PM CST, and to end at midnight (on the fence about this).

The whole setup and stream testing went a lot smoother than I thought. I really enjoyed it (even though I already played Paranoia already and was not so great with commentary).

I definitely want to do the Cry of Fear livestream now. Very confident about hosting; not so confident about playing the game with a calm head.

Update #2:

Looks like I'm late to the party. I just found out Cry of Fear releases on the 22nd, not the 21st. Sorry about that. At least I'm fully free for those days after.

In the meantime, I can host playing Forget Me Not Annie, a first person horror puzzler.
