My dad was talking about a pet that held his ego weapon while he was metaluraging, so I began thinking of how cool that would be and came up with the perfect pet, that Nexon could make TONS of money on, even if we all thought they were over priced.
The Pet that I would create would be...
A Doppelganger.
It would have the ID of every item you are wearing when summoned, have the exact same skills as you and do exactly what you do.
What I mean by "ID of every item you're wearing" is; Dura lowers 2x more[Time and Use], Prof Increases 2x more[Per Hit/Shot & Time], and Egos get hungrier faster.
The "exact same skills as you" explains itself. [You have r1 ranged, so does it]
Finally what I meant about "do exactly what you do" is; it copies everything you do, e.g. you load ranged, it loads ranged. You shoot, it shoots.
Now, the thing about this is the price. This pet would be considered overpowered in a lot of ways, though, like WoW, this pet could clearly sell for $25 because of it[Limited Time, Ofc].
I would definitaly buy 3 or more of these just to get my ego hungrier.
What do you think? :3

OP.
Would make everything hella easier, and the skills would adapt with us as we rank em right? There'd be some pretty strong ass Doppelgangers O_O

Convenient, yes.
Way too many applications, also yes.

I think the cost for that one might go over 50k. ._.

It should have the ability to transform into other party members in your party as well and copy whatever they do for extra fun. And very OP.

It'd be kinda weird having yourself as a pet..
Maybe it has some sort of original form that morphs into you at the cost of a steady stamina loss?

So, if I miss an arrow, it misses an arrow?

Your dad? A pet that held his ego? *confused*

Should be a skill instead of a pet.
Rank up = more prof, less dura loss, hungrier ego, longer summon time, etc.
Nifty features r9 and up?

It'd have it's own %.
He was talking about wanting one :P

Was talking about the flow of cash Nexon could make for this, and how many people would buy it.

Double WM 8D.
When you die, it dies?
When you get knocked back, what about the pet?
And if the pet can attract aggro... When it get's hit, what happens?
Hmmm...

You bring up a good point about dying, the and getting hit. [Knock-back is a no]
I would say, if you'd die, it'd turn into a random white orb or something, and be completely useless. Getting hit would cause you both to lose that much HP, like normal doppelgangers.

So it's pretty much another 'you' fighting beside you? o-0
I like this idea but, if it had the exact same skill as you, wouldn't the game become more boring? Cuz you would be killing everything with your pet and you'll eventually lose interest in the game.
Unless there's a cap at like r5 or something, higher than normal pets. The pet would still be overpowered, since most skill becomes better at r5 (WM, LB, etc)

I like your dad's idea better. :tea: Yours is OP and i don't think any type of cap would make it less OP.
