Would you be able to destory your friends/family if you had to(bitten/zombie)

  You're taking them for idiots. Having been bitten they know they're going to die soon. They might've already decided to do something, or may have already done something, or will do something, before you decide they're close enough to death to ask how they want to die.
  
  I understand why you want to do this, and I considered it too, respecting their will and remaining life and all, but for the well being of everyone else who is alive and fine, what you have to do is dispose of them the second you're all out of any immediate danger, without bothering to consult them about it.
  
  People really will always be scarier than zombies ever will be. With their life at peril they might do anything.
  
  Edit: Maybe I'd make a really bad leader. This would cripple team morale, I know.

  That would cause a panic -.- it's probably safer to abandon them if they refuse, since you'll at least know that they're going to come for you guys then and they'll be fair game :/

  Pity kill: Subject is being overrun and bitten all over by zombies. They are unlikely to escape and will end up enduring excruciating pain while being devoured.
  
  Don't shoot: Subject was simply bitten in the middle of an attack. Subject may be hurt and somewhat crippled, but he is able to move and fight.
  
  Problem is, if you're in the middle of being attacked by a zombie, and someone is bitten, I WOULD put a little more priority in getting everyone out of immediate danger first.
  
  Once the initial zombie problem is over, then you kill the person who was bitten (or if you're really too soft, ditch them).
  
  If you're using a gun, which I honestly hope you are since you're planning on killing a human, you can't really waste a bullet on a living person when there are zombies. Unlike vidyas, clip sizes aren't ridiculously huge nor can you reload in 1.8 seconds.

  I'd like to think that the majority of my friends and family would be rational enough to be willing to die by execution. If one of them did happen to panic, I'd probably let him/her point a gun at my head while I point my gun at theirs, with the other survivors standing down. Sometimes being in that 1 to 1 situation sobers you up a little when you don't feel like it's you vs. the group. I realize that I might not survive that gambit 100% of the time, but if the situation got to the point where a significant number of my friends and family died, I don't think I would care as much about life. I'd rather the cooperation of the group not be broken down for one person.
