At least not in the sense of stripping bad genes from individuals or creating perfect specimens. I suppose we could use something like Sparta and make ideal pairings, extract their genetic material and artificially inseminate an artificial womb with the designer baby. I guess that'd work. Super expensive at the moment though. And by super expensive, I mean like $500,000 for one try, if not more.

Nobody would ever accept that either. There would be public outrage and rebellions, and ah... it just wouldn't work very well.

But hey, my method works much better.

I don't think humans (humanity is a really improper terminology for our species, since it's more of one for morality and such, and in which case I might welcome), will ever go extinct, barring genetically modifying ourselves to be superior to what we currently are and becoming a new species all together.
