Ok so lets say you are part of a team and this team is very close. You have a private area to workout and one day you all schedule a special workout. A specific number of people show up and you who is who front and back. You know who went and who left. Now lets say at this workout something of yours is LOST. Fairly valuable but not enough that you you would think someone would steal it.
Now: you trust these people ALOT. They are almost like a second family to you with exception to a few (still seemingly good-hearted) people. It's an item that is pretty big so its hard to lose and not see it. You've looked everywhere and the only possibilities left are
1Someone stole it.
2Someone took it by accident.
This is the first time I've been put in this situation. I would like to think someone took it by accident, but no one has come out. I would say maybe they don't know who it belongs to but it had my phone in it, which they could have easily used to call "Home" or "Mom" to find out. (But my phone is turned off LOL so i can't call it to get the person's attention IF they had it.)
I would like to trust all these people and still feel like i do, but my CRAZY ASIAN PARENTS, are so PARANOID, and want to go and call out a thief outright. I'd rather NOT go down that path but maybe I should interrogate some people. Maybe I should just let it slide, and next time it happens I'll really crack down on a real investigation? I honestly do not care about losing the item or phone since both were not that valuable (crap flip fone weeeeeee) to me. I just don't want my parents to make a big scene about it, and also, I don't want to have to feel so paranoid about the people I TRUST.
What do you think I should do?!?!?
