Another hunter was lurking about and happened to spot the bird. Knowing his diseased poverty-stricken family was in dire need of food he decided on poultry for dinner. For some reason this wandering hungry fellow had a rifle, one that could reach almost 99 meters! but wait -- there was a problem. The bird he sees happened to be on the endangered species list, something he had learned while peeping on a middle-classed family watching discovery channel. (Later on he was discovered and was forced to make a hasty getaway in order to evade the quickly approaching policemen called in by the family!). So this man, hungry, dirty, frightened and slightly stupid stood there. Staring off into the distance where the bird stood, and began wondering. "How shall I ever catch this bird?". Night was quickly approaching, soon he felt the chill of midnight creep into him. "I must do it!" he thought. In a small clearing, the endangered bird, decorated with an elaborate assortment of tropical feathers, waited. Its feet were planted firmly in the ground and was apparently too dumb to have moved in the past 6 hours or so. The previous rifleman we spoke of earlier by now has finally reached close enough for a clear shot. He camped up in a tall tree, silently stalking his soon-to-be captive. Both men took aim almost at the same time, moving in perfect symmetrical and oddly coincidental harmony. BANG. The hunter farthest from the bird shot first. His hunger had driven him thus far, but by now it was beginning to turn on him. Startled, the bird quickly spread its wings in a panicked attempt to evade the bullets. It flared its feathers, revealing an enormous wingspan of over 100m!! the hunter patiently waiting above fired -- but missed! Due to his over confidence, the man had not bothered taking care in his shots. The bullet whizzed past the birds head, narrowly missing its vitals but managing to graze an eye. Realizing there was not only one, but two hunters after him the bird flapped. Sadly, the enormous wingspan of a Gn'luckto Clucken Frangly was not meant to fly, and instead created a massive whirl-wind which sucked in both hunters as well as several trees/bushes. The hunter above was shoved off his residing branch by the whipping wind. He tumbled, down down down and crushed the Gn'luckto with his massive muscular figure. Alas, the bird was no more...
...wonder how many of you will actually read that.

Stay classy.

The bird was already injured from another encounter with a hunter, and when it heard the sound of a rifle, it began to panic and frantically flapped its wings to try to fly up to avoid the gun. However, in doing so, it opened its injuries from the previous hunter further, and couldn't stand it. It couldn't fly anymore, and fell to its death.
Meh.
