For me is when ever someone around me is holding a knife. Being stabbed is one of my worst fears ever and when ever i see it happen in a movie i start to gag.
It doesn't matter if its a close friend or a relative, i just get this nervous feeling and feel a bit uneasy because of my fear.

[FONT="Book Antiqua"]I have lots and lots of fears, but my irrational one would have to be Grasshoppers.
I used to love them when I was little~ But when I was about 5 or so, one of my friends decided to convince me that the tar stuff they spit up is used to dissolve human flesh so they could eat us alive. And being a five year-old, I believed them. Now, I know that it's not true but I'm still scared to death by them. *shudder*

BEES. That is all.
You know how I told you guys the story of my history teacher that I love and how she made fun of me for running away during a fire drill because of a bee?
Well, I was telling my friend that story at stage crew and the director overheard me and told us that during her first year teaching, there was a bumblebee in her classroom and she was screaming down the hallway and he had to kill it for her.
I don't know if that's supposed to make me feel better or not, but I laughed. Now I don't feel so bad.

I'm scared of ghosts, to the point where I never turn my computer off and I always keep the cat in my room at night.
I'm always paranoid that they will turn off lights, and I guess this is just from all the movies I watch with ghosts. Grave Encounters really got me, except for the end (I still hate how they ended it.)
I've even had a nightmare where it felt real, I was looking around my room and my desk was levitating. Which is terrifying if you think it's real, and you're locked in your room haha.

Heights. I am so terrified of heights, I can't get on a rollercoaster without having a full blown panic attack or blacking out. I'm perfectly fine on elevators and airplanes, but get me on a rollercoaster or near a cliff and I panic.
Praying Mantises are another one I'm afraid of, because of backing up to one when I was younger and having it try to attack me. T.T Apparently..pregnant ones will go after you.

I have a irrational fear of morons.
Well more like hatred but you get the idea.

I'm scared of heights, but I don't think it's irrational to be scared of falling and hurting yourself or dying.
So I guess I have none.

I was one of those kids who overthought errything, and I might've convinced myself to only fear fear itself. Tho I might flip out if I lose my imagination, so I'd guess that counts as an irrational fear.

Cars. I don't have a license, and I don't ever plan on getting one. I don't like riding in them either. I either take a train or I walk.

I'm deathly afraid of dead insects. I'm cautious to keep from squishing any bugs I encounter.
That's about it.

Why dead insects and not alive ones??

They're still pretty icky. Imagine stepping on it and releasing insect guts...yiiieh.
Also, I just saw a spider on my trash bin when I went to put my shoes away. Not sure how I feel about this.

That's an interesting fear you have there. [S]Maybe you should stop watching America's Most Wanted or the news[/S] >.<
My irrational fear is heights. Yes, I know - so original.
But, it's really kind of bad. The moment I get onto the second step of a ladder, my knees are shaking.
And school bleachers? Pffft. I'm terrified of them. Thankfully, I'm in college now - so I don't see bleachers anymore.
Yet, I'm fine if I am in an enclosed area. Airplanes and elevators are fine.
But when you have those see-through glass elevators, OMG. I have to close my eyes, I get so terrified :T_T:
same fear here, I sorta see it as instincts, cause when you're not in those "enclosed" spaces, you're exposed to danger, according to your senses that is
another one that's similiar would be a fear of, like murky water
plenty more fears, but those are like the prominent ones,
an irrational one, I think would be of bugs that are bigger than I think they should be, like if I see one that's the size of my finger, or larger
sure my instant reaction is to kill it as quickly as possible, but I still think it's an irrational fear, even though I face them with my foot so easily xD
