I can't help it. D:<
I love my mage character and my melee character now.
Which is more useful?
Which is cheaper?
Which doesn't have laaag? (or less lag)
Which is EPIC? (...Ignore this..)
Which is more efficient end-game?
The End.

End-game, you'll probably be maxing out all tabs...
Most of those questions really depends on you and your fighting style, and the mob you're against.

Melee is cheaper.
Lag is probably irrelevant?
End-Game means you got all your combat skills 8D, but I'd go with melee, cause WM1 can get you a long way.
And since your asking this question, magic is too expensive for you, for now. By the time your rich enough, you can finish w/e magic skills you like.

Melee is cheaper and probably more useful to you right now. Magic is expensive, to say the least.

I love my mage and my melee know.

That depends on the situation. Both Adv Magic and WM ignore protection when calculating critical. I suppose it comes down to whether the monster has HS or MR
Which is cheaper? Melee is by far cheaper. Wand Repair + MP pots + Books to buff your int/mp
Which doesn't have laaag? (or less lag) Both have equal amounts of lag. If your refering to which is most affect by lag I'll say mages (MP consumption isnt fixed e.g Fireball will take more than 25 seconds if you lag, and more MP as well)
Which is EPIC? (...Ignore this..)
Thats subjective but I'll say that Melee weapons look a lot more epic than wands (sorry mages) but adv magic definately has more lustre compared to say FH and WM
Which is more efficient end-game?
End-Game everyone is hybrid in the end, aka max everything.

To get adv magic would cost a lot for you, if you were going to go true mage. Not to mention MP pots. If you go mage, you might wanna get into herbalism & pot making. Herbalism'll help with int, anyways.

Most people will Windmill spam anything with HS anyways, unless it's HS3.
Same goes for most magic unless it's MR3. Only bolt magic and Thunder (if solo) is unadvisable against strong MR2 mobs - FB, IS, and Blaze are still acceptable because of the knockback property.
On a sidenote - I think most mobs with MR2/3 also have HS. Although not necessarily the converse.
Gorgons, Bugbears, Spike Laghs, Golems, Peaca Ghosts, etc.

^ HS = Heavy Stander, MD = Mana Deflector
You're a giant, definitely go melee first. It's fairly difficult for a giant to effectively use magic at a low level offensively due to low Int and very low Mana. My Magic Mastery is capped and I only have 137 base Mana. I've spent about 200k just getting my Int to 169 base without buying dungeon book drops. I have to rely on my herb pets and I constantly have to make mana pots. I'm not even a mage, I only use Firebolt with my melee and I'll occasionally use FireBall at boss rooms.
Going mage first as a giant is not a good idea. Although with a lot of leveling and training and AP and money, a giant mage can be pulled off.
I advise at least getting all of your bolts anyway as each bolt has a different advantage in different situations like fire countering ogre warriors or ice countering. Just do not rely on them to be pulling off any decent damage, use them strategically and take advantage of a giant's strength and stamina with melee. You certainly cannot go wrong there.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the percentage based damage Throwing Attack gets in G12S2.
Where r1 Throwing Attack does 900% damage.
