Being able to Edit polls?

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

I guess its just a perc That comes with being a staff member.

I think the OP should be allowed to edit his own poll / add new options after it has already started and people should have the option to take back there answers and choose another.

Because allowing poll editing also allows changing of vote results. That's how 99.999999999999999% of forums are and it's unlikely to change. without the use of 3rd party add-ons.

Not with the way our current forum software works. It's either edit everything or nothing, and everything leaves too much potential for abuse.

We don't really want to do any more forum software modifications at this time, since we're soon moving to Xenforo and it'll be counter productive spending time working on something that won't be around afterwords anyways.
