My dog's dying.
My Mom took him to the vet and two of his heart valves don't work anymore. On top of that, he has an irregular heartbeat. I think that's what you call it.
This causes some liquid to get pumped into his chest or stomach, which causes him to bloat up around that area. He's on like medication now, but I'm sure he's not gonna get better from here. It's just gonna get worse and worse slowly.
But he's doing fantastic. He's happy and not in pain (not that he ever was). So just focusing on him right now and school and work.
GOTTA TAKE CARE OF MY FRIEND WHILE HE NEEDS ME.
I hope he can make it to 12, which is this September. Haha, he's just old.

:T_T:! September is the month of my birthday. I'll use my same month birthday powers to make sure he lives to see it. He'll be okay Phunkie, don't worry D:

If he's happy, that's all that matters. After all, once he's dead, he'll not be the one suffering. Just enjoy the time you have, and be glad it's a good time for him too.

At least that dog has lived for quite a long time and he's happy. Give him all the attention he needs.

Poor Rocky. Hoping he'll pull through with the optimism from the both of you.
I have a slightly neat idea to cheer you both up. Try to spend a few moments together, looking over pictures of you two together. And talking about it (even though it's mostly you who would be talking, Joel).

aww :( high hopes for you and your dog. I've lost a couple dogs, and I barely had them half as long as you had yours and it was horribly painful. I still miss my old dogs
though it looks grim, I'm hoping he pulls through

I'm pretty late but I hope your dog is doing okay, I know how hard it is to know something like a pet close to you is holding on ;;
