As I've seen on many forums, games, and others, I've seen people spend HUNDREDS of dollars on their virtual gaming, and I don't understand why. Maybe it's in my genetics to be logical about this. (I am Indian after all)
The Boundary Lines
Birthday Money This boundary line is really low on buying nexon cash. Perhaps they'll spend their birthday money on it, (because that might be all they can spend in a year). They usually spend it on mounts and pets. Sometimes on the cheaper Cash Shop items.
Money Spent per year - Up to $50
Allowance Get $5 a week like I do? Well, you have to spread apart your spending, because Mabinogi isn't life. :]
This is generally spent on pets, and maybe Extra Storage.
Money Spent per year - Up to $80
The One with a Job Get $8 an hour! Lucky ducks! I still believe they should spread apart their money, but they can afford to get Premium Service every month, along with every pet there is! (Except for the ones that come when you're hiatus).
Money Spent per year - No Limits. O.O
Just a guide, I guess, sorry if no one likes it. I got the idea last night.

So if you have a job, then you should know you have no limits...? That seems wrong >.>

nx can be used in maplestory too, so this is off-topic thread...
at the very least, it's not a guide solely for mabi (not specific enough). /request move

I know, but I couldn't think of anything for that part. I guess it's because I haven't experienced that yet.
You wanna give me any editing ideas? xD (Because I fail)

These money values seem kinda arbitrary. Everyone has different budget limitations and different wants and needs. The guide also generalizes people by what they buy on the basis of their income when, in actuality, people will buy whatever they feel like (e.g., rich people might not purchase premium service if they feel it's not worthwhile, and anyone in any of the categories mentioned could settle with dyes or gachapon and go without other things). A better idea might be to list off items that most people typically get and make suggestions as to how high in their priority those items should be.

Note that it's knowing your LIMITS.
But I do agree with you, I suppose...I'll try to edit it as soon as I think of what to say.

This is too true.

I get $30 dollars a month, and $30 for every A I have on my report card. If I get straight A's, it turns to $50.
I'm chinese, k.
Or as far as I know...

I make around 53k a year with my job. It's not really that much when you consider rent, bills, food and family expenses, but I usually have a little bit of cash to throw into frivolous things like video games.
I still feel really guilty when I buy NX though, like the money could have gone to something more important...

Let's see. Ama is the lucky one. I live in a houshould with 4 professionals. We all make 100k+ a year, and we all combine our funds. We have one baby (MINE!) and she's rather costly o.o. We rarely buy anything other than ~$400 in food every couple months. We're pretty much set. Although I still hate overspending (Asian hehehe.) I spend about $50 a month. Weeklies with Prem service and use the spare nx in between for things like xp pots dyes n such.

No. No men allowed in, we have a perfect track record for all women.
On topic: NX is spent based on income =3.
