I know I've drawn guys before, but this one's an OC of mine and the majority of my OCs are female. I started drawing this after going through my Game Informer and reading the section for Assassin's Creed III. His name is Lucas Rowelle.

I honestly tried my hardest on this one. I'M NOT GOOD WITH ANATOMY. Especially the anatomy of a male. They don't have boobs so those curves are non-existant and their hips are flatter.

It's difficult to see at first, but if you look really carefully, men actually have pretty interesting curves. Definitely easier to see them on a female, though.

Yeah,I've noticed that on dA and some Rule 34's of AC. Those drawings are really detailed...

The thing is, sketchpad paper smudges easily and it's hard to erase at times. Computer paper is what I normally would use because the lines appear smoother and it's easier to erase.

I think the Key differences between a male & a female is just the detail on the chin (more pointed)

& the area around the center of the eyes is more defined (eyebrows & more (doesnt know how to describe it)) :o

Anywho, I think you just need to figure out the basic of the difference between the shapes of male & female heads.

Female heads, are actually shaped pretty much like you drew those male heads there. Pouty cheeks, then slope down to a triangular chin.

Males, tend to be a much more box-like shape, with a more pronounced chin and wider jaw.

I'm an absolutely horrible artist with a mouse, but I'll try to show you what I mean...

actually you can draw a man with a female head, they can still look man you know haha
but anyways, his nose and mouth is a bit big :D
and for me guys bodies are 100x fun for me to draw than girls xD (grar i cant draw girl legs for crap OTL)

Just keep in mind that while certain traits do appear in the majority of males and females, some can be born with androgynous or even masculine/feminine features.

i.e. feminine/androgynous guy,

Just so you don't worry too much about your guys being too feminine or your girls too masculine. Practice makes perfect, but neither sex has to look exactly like their stereotyped gender.
