Did I finally make a decent one? Constructive criticism is appreciated.

It's pretty good, but the background could've been something other than flat black.. It makes the white glow too stark, and it's too empty in the upper right. Also, it's just personal preference, but the font.. ahauidfhsdi that font daufhbdguibhsd? It's just one of those kind of tacky overused ones.

Hmmm, if you want to get better I suggest reading some tutorials and such on deviantart. Like Kazuni said the black background is boring.. And the font is :<

Yeah, though it did make the girl pop out, I would like to see more effort put in the background.
It can still be black, but add something to it, y'know?

Leave the background as the color of the forum background or transparent, and make the text the color of her clothing.
You could also make some sort of square container for the text as well. Or any shape, really - doesn't matter.

I think i'll change the color of the text, but i'm not much for containers of text, same with the transparency. Thank you though.

Gotta agree with TA on this. I find most images like that just look better without a background.
Maybe mess around with the colors, contrast and so on or even just use some actions on it. (depending on what editing program you use)
I personally prefer smaller, pixel text, but the one you're using works too.
