Well ill rephrase it. She picks dogs up off the street and sells them, regardless of ifif they are strays or already have a worried owner. Im going to sleep, I'm going to have an anxiety attack again if i stay up much longer worrying like this.

Did your dog have identification or other tags? If so, then the neighbor is not a dick, but rather a criminal, and should be brought to justice.

I understand that the fact that they stole your dog is super messed up but I fail to see how the bolded part is bad.
Most (normal) people would at least make some attempt to identify the owner of a loose pet before turning it over to the pound (or selling it ).
@Bride
While I don't approve of your neighbor's actions, I also wouldn't like to have a neighbor who doesn't provide a secure fence and/or monitor their dogs while outside to ensure they don't leave the yard. It's not as if the neighbor could simply feed the dogs back through the breach they probably just dug, though a better neighbor would have notified you immediately to come claim the dogs from their yard.

I've had some neighbors which have been pretty awesome.
When I was young, this old lady next to us would take care of me and my siblings when my Mom had to go somewhere. She was an awesome babysitter and really sweet too.
My neighbor now (another old lady) often receives our packages for us when the UPS or Fedex comes by and nobody's home.
I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor though. Hope you find your dog soon.
My astronomy professor told us about his own crazy neighbor and how she would walk into his yard and check his mail. So you know what he did? He went to Radioshack or somewhere that sells electronics and bought a mini, portable security camera and recorded her doing this, and then took it to the police as evidence.

Unfortunately, tracking a lost pet isn't a simple thing to do. The microchips don't have a power source themselves, so they're not sending out a signal all the time. They require people using scanners to work.

Ok we finally got our doggy back. She came home after 4 days of being lost, and my sister decided to be a dick and walk her right as our neighbor got out. According to my sister, the look on her face was that of pure anger, which sounded kind of scary.
I would have posted sooner, but everything has been hectic with my mom wanting to make sure everything was ok.
Also, she came home with an intense craving for milk. On the plus side, the fence in the backyard is now 100% dogproof, and just to be sure were taking turns watching them and wiring down any part of the fence that they even look at weird.
Oh, we got all our dogs dog tags and im talking to my mom about the microchiping and everything.
It was weird, we had tags before on their colars, i remember helping my mom get them. They were not there when we checked again though.

I seriously don't know hot I would react to your fucking neighbors seriously.
I would be raging at them so hard. I would consider a pet dog to be like my own child if i raised it from when it was still a puppy.
To me what they did to you = Them stealing you kid brother and selling him to some weirdo.
Okay maybe not that extreme but still. :c
Glad that your dog came back.

You may not be able to see how I'm feeling, but this brightens up my day.
