  Oh that reminds me. I went investigating and apparently if you use a character that has skipped the g1-3 mainstreams it still counts. I'm sort of annoyed by this but yea it'd mean a crap ton of people are in the clear.

  I read a quote from Maeby that stated this. I didn't find the actual thread, but again i didn't look hard. I try to avoid the official forums.
  
  A lot of my old mates from back in G2 skipped G1 for getting to paladin faster too. I never did except on alts. I don't now though, it's too easy not to skip.
