Recently my dad has lost his job. He hasn't worked for around 2 months now and we're basically broke. We're relying on my grandma to pay our bills and her bills, but we have no way to get food. So right now, we have no food.
My mom, dad, and I were talking and we got to the talk about getting a job. I tell my mom she should get a job, seeing as she has a driver's license. She then tells me to get a job. Thing is, how do I get to the job without a driver's license? I can't rely on her because most of the time when she has to do something she "doesn't feel good." Right now, she said she'd get us food stamps but I can't really rely on her to do that if she "doesn't feel good" on the day she's supposed to go. I can barely get her to get my to school sometimes.
So now, we're stuck without money and starving. I only have enough money to get me through one more week of school lunch and then I'm completely broke.
Any suggestions? I'm desperate.
Also, technically my dad has a job, but he can't work now because he was stupid enough to say he was going to call his lawyer because they were deducting 400 from his paycheck because gas was too high...

Your mom sounds lazy, but I guess that's just in her nature. Telling you to let her starve would be cruel.
I'd say, try looking for a job close to your home so it won't take you long to get there by walking or public transport. Any money is better than no money. Even a job cleaning would be pretty good (I made a couple hundred helping do community service/sweeping places)

The problem with that is that I live in a small neighborhood. Surrounded by forest. And the closest place I could get a job is too dangerous.

Then, I don't know anything else except to try and save as much as you can, maybe sell off some things unnecessary. Sorry. And best of luck to your family!

The only thing you can do is try to apply absolutely everywhere you can. It doesn't matter if you have to travel an hour or two to get there, just as long as you have a job.

lolwut.. too lazy to work, and even too lazy to get food stamps? O.o That's kind of ridiculous. Maybe she wants all of you to go on a diet or something. No comment on the father's thing, either..
Anyway, there's no reason for you to starve. I dunno how old you are (or even if it matters when it comes to getting food stamps), but I've heard that anyone can apply for them. So find out exactly what you need to do to apply for that. You do have 'net access, so nobody's preventing you from doing that, at least.

We'll be losing it soon, though. It kind of sucks. But I'll try.

Tell your mother to quit being worthless and get off her lazy ass to help provide for her family. I don't know how old you are, but I would work on getting my drivers license so you don't need her to drive you around. Get yourself a job so you can have some money to eat on, and when she asks you to get her something, tell her to get off her ass and get a job to pay for her own damn food like you do. If she is that worthless that she won't help her family, she doesn't deserve anything to eat.

I'd get a license as soon as possible. But, if she's too lazy to get foodstamps then make her or your father take you there and apply yourself. If nothing else, ask your grandmother to drive you there.
Look up their number and call them and set up an appointment. It's harder to feign laziness when you have something you officially have to show up for.

My grandmother can't drive me, she has half a foot missing. I have another older sister who can drive, she complains a lot too. In fact, my whole family complains.
I'll try. btw I'm 19.

Yea the best option i see here is that either your going to have to do it yourself, or your going to have to push your mom or your sister. Shes lazy? Well your going to have t keep bugging her till someone does something. When times are hard, you cant just rely on one family member to carry the weight.

If things get too desperate, I think you'll have to walk to and fro though.
Get the license if you want to have any shot at a better future.
