I told only two of my friends about Mabinogi.
1) My bffl
2) My one school friend
My bff fell in love with Fashionogi, and bought a lot of pets. But now her comp. gives her some stupid error and she can't fix it cause of her uptight dad so shes gonna buy a laptop soon. My school friend is too busy to play so she never does so w.e XD
Have any of you got your irl friends to play Mabi?

Ooo fashionogi. I like.
I got a couple of my friends to play.. though I was always too lazy to help.
..not to mention I absolutely hated their internet lingo and how slow they talked..
One of them l33tsp34ks.. though I'd never guess irl.

Most of my friends are die hard FPS players or MapleStory idiots.
So no.

Hmm let me see here...
theres my girlfriend,
our 5 friends,
2 of my old high school friends,
theres the little sister of one of my old high school friends
so app. 9 IRL
Then i conned my good mate from online to play with me and my ex did for a short while so that's another 2 if you count them...
so app 11?
Yea.
We've had Mabinogi lan-parties. it's rather comical. I don't talk to some of them now though mostly just my girlfriend and our 5 friends and my online mates. I don't tell some of my current offline mates so they think i'm a WoW addict again when i say i'm going on my PC. Whatever, lol.

I wish I could, but they would all think I'm beyond any means of help, being "an MMO addict."

I don't tell people I play MMO's.
Especially Nexon games.

I got like 3 friends to play, 2 of them quit, and one of them is semi-active. They did bring a slew of newbies with them though, but they quit as well, thinking Mabinogi was "too hard".

I tried telling those kinds of people about Mabi, but they kept going off about how MapleStory is supposedly "way better than Mabinogi" even though they haven't heard of or tried the latter. One of them is also stubbornly averse to trying new things and refuses to play anything other than MapleStory, despite the fact that he has long since quit.
I also tried telling some other friends who are gamers in general about it, but they were too busy fanboy-ing over RO and claimed it was "way better than Mabinogi," but they either hadn't heard of it or dismissed it on the grounds that it "looks too simple." Lolwat.
One of my other friends expressed interest in it, but she generally doesn't play games other than MapleStory because she thinks a game like this would be too hard/complex and 3D games tend to make her dizzy anyway.
I only managed to convince
one friend to actually play it, but she was on for maybe two days and hasn't been on since because she's been busy and tends to stay away from MMOs because she doesn't like interacting with people very much.
tl;dr Almost everyone I know is either a die-hard MapleStory fan or unwilling to try new things or not a gamer/MMO player.
