I'd personally prefer to buy my NX online. Why? Everytime I go to my local 7-11, there's rough looking dudes who sometimes ask me what it's for. I usually tell them it's for my brother, then I have to explain it's for "some online game". Then they say, "Cool...". Then it becomes an awkward moment. There's also times when sometimes the clerk makes a comment on me buying it, such as, "This is why I don't have kids."
This is usually the point at which I say "You're working at Rite Aid and you're 42. No wonder you don't have kids >.>"
But seriously, I like the local CVS because everyone that works there is so dead inside that they're incapable of judgment c:

If you're talking about paypal via bank or credit card then you get the NX right away. I've only ever used paypal since I never see cards around here.

...I want to get a job and a debit card, dammet.
I go there with my best friends, a boy and a girl. The cashier always comments and says, that's why you don't get a girlfriend til you get a job. Dx

Something else no one has mentioned.
Ultimate game Cards (
Ultimate Game Card - One Game Card to access 1000+ Games)
Mabinogi and Maplestory are 2 Nexon games that apparently work with them.
So if getting an Ultimate game Card is easier than getting a Nexon card, Go for it.
Although, I've never used them myself- they should be the same as using a Nexon card :oops:

Yes, except you can only buy up to 25k.
And that is $25 still.
Also, some stores IRL tax you.
Rite Aid don't.
What....
I thought taxes were based on states rather than stores......

I never trusted that...
It just looks like a scam, but since they sell them in stores, I guess it really isn't one.

There's a difference if you're buying in canada.
UGC = 11.17 per 10k nx
Prepaid card = 12.00 per 10k nx
Online = ??
The problem with UGC is that since around where I live, I can only get increments of $20, so I get all this leftover change that I can't use because you can only charge 10k+ worth at a time with it.
I need to buy 80k in order to get 80k. $20 card = 10k with $9 or so leftover.

I bought 10k yesterday through paypal. Bill was $10.62 CAD for 10k.

Tax isn't supposed to apply to prepaid cash (ie - gift cards, phone cards, prepaid credit cards, virtual currency).
... At least where I live, neither Gamestop, Target, or 7-11 has ever taxed.

Nexon makes canada pay 20% more for nexon prepaid cash D:!
