  They're quite large, as in height. I'd recommend trying to do more things as in effects and such; it seems like all you did was blur the back ground and insert a image and give it a white stroke/glow. The fonts could be a better as well, 2nd one is fairly hard to read if I hadn't had read the first one.
  
  I'm no good at recommending any tutorials or anything more specific. Sorry.

  Can't work off your advice. I'm not good with finding fonts and effects and such, but I did use Xenron's Signature tutorial for parts of it.

  Brusheezy for more brushes, dafont for more fonts. No registration required and all free. You just have to know what kind of brushes and fonts you're looking for, and for that, just keep in mind what kind of theme you want to have going on in your signature.
  
  I personally don't feel that I'm qualified for judging other's sigs myself, since I don't consider myself skilled either, but...
  
  As far as text placement goes, I personally find it one of the most annoying things to do at the moment. It's really hard to place text on a sig without it feeling out of place in some way, yet you really want to try and have your text stand out in some way that's appealing with the rest of your signature. You also may want to look into using different brushes or C4Ds to add in some effects to the empty space you have in sigs. Bigger signatures are always great for showing off more of your render, but you have to do something about the extra space you have.
  
  First signature feels out of place in a way in my opinion. I don't know much about touhou, so I don't really know whether or not those ufos are supposed to be related to her character (I'm going to assume they are though, since I remember hearing something about ufos with touhou or something). Next, look at the direction of the rain falling down in contrast to how her skirt flows. The dress should be flowing the other way around along with the direction of the rain falling, and in the end it slightly interferes with the flow.
  
  The second signature, I think a different background would have worked better. Not only that, but with this sig and the previous sig, I feel that the girl is just being placed over a background, not entirely fitting in with it. Though considering how you stated that you lack brushes / C4Ds (I'm assuming that's what you mean by effects) and fonts to use with all the extra space you're leaving open, that if you try getting your hands on some and learning to use them, you could make yourself a good sig.

  @Loki, true but it can also be negative on forums as well. I see a lot of people complain about huge pics, especially on this site. Also many forums have restrictions as well in terms of height but usually less on width.
  
  An easy way to start is just trying a bunch of random tutorials, avoid anything to comlpex. After you get a feel for some ways to make effects you like, you can start mixing what you've learned to make your own style.
  
  There are multiple types of sigs as well such as abstract, sfx, grunge and more. Basically the style/method to use them. Here's a fairly simple sfx sig guide (credits to enoxico of MAL and stock/c4d's are avaible at the top if you want to try imitating which you can use to see if your doing the steps right) and of course you can easily just mix kinds of effects and methods together to make an something like sfx abstract sig.

  Alright, I think i'm scrapping the second one and I fixed the flow of the first one. I can't find any C4D's that are what I want and brushes are screwing with me, so what I can I do for the first one?

  Leave, it if you can't find any c4ds you like. And if brushes aren't working just move on. Although you might wanna look into why the brushes aren't working.

  For both the brushes and c4ds, I'd recommend you just download/get a load of random ones, probably less random for the brushes. I find that when I download brush sets, it's mostly only because there's a single brush in the set that I wanted to use, everything else is just extra. As for c4ds, if they don't look good, make them look good, flip, rotate, erase, filter them, etc. You don't need to use an entire c4d, most people (i think) just use portions of a single or multiple c4ds.
