It makes sense wanting to preserve one's species. Eventually all of the various human species will have interbred and we'll only be a single species.

There are wide differences between "races" though. Physical differences, behaviors, and even intelligence. Race is really much more of a social term than it should be. Honestly, I think we should be classified as sub-species rather than races of the same species. I don't think we're the same species, yet.
